AWANA
What is AWANA?
Awana
stands for Approved
Workmen
Are
Not
Ashamed.
To
produce such approved workmen, AWANA has carefully
selected Bible verses to be memorized and Scripture
portions are taught to communicate doctrinal truths.
Memory work is chosen to establish a personal relationship
between each child and Jesus Christ as Saviour and
Lord; build up children in Bible Knowledge; and
instill in them a love and respect for God, His
Word and others.
- Awana Clubs offer a threefold program for
your child, with emphasis on meeting physical, social
and spiritual needs.
- Game
Time focuses on fun team competitions
where the children develop team spirit, cooperation
and good sportsmanship.
- Handbook
Time allows the children to work
one-on-one with leaders and listeners, reciting
their handbook sections from memory.
- Council
Time is when the children meet for
singing, receiving awards, and an inspirational
message out of God's Word.
