Outdoors, Sunday August 9

Since it's supposed to be a beautiful day on Sunday morning, the worship service will again be outside at 9:30am! Pastor Pat will begin a new series in the book of James. Please keep a six foot distance between family groups and we also ask that there be no hugging or handshaking. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Keep reading below for new information regarding children's church during the sermon.

Sunday lyrics: Find the lyrics here. Please download and print or use your mobile device on Sunday. For those who cannot access the lyrics, copies will be available hanging on the gym wall outside, or handed out in front of the gym doors.

Mission Agency: here is a link to a Q&A time that explains what it would mean if Pequea serves as the mission agency for the Oser family. We are also planning on an in-person Q&A time for anyone interested immediately following the worship service on Sunday, August 9th under the car port. We plan to have a congregational vote on August 16th on whether or not we will serve as the Oser's mission agency.

Families: This Sunday there will be children's church for children age 4 through grade 3 during the sermon time. Hopefully, you received an email from Tammy Shondelmyer with more details. There will be separately bagged, age-appropriate activities to do with children. You can find these packets available for pickup on Sunday outside of the gym doors.

It's time to think about school supplies for our Operation Christmas Child shoe box ministry.  We are still planning to do a packing event this Fall, but it will look different than previous years.  Please click here for a list of needed items.

The Sunday worship service will be streamed on Facebook Live. It can be found on the Pequea Baptist Church page.

Come cheer on the church softball team at Paradise Park as they have two games this coming week. Monday, August 10, 7:30pm, Field #2, vs Trinity. And a make-up game on Tuesday, August 11, 6:30pm, Field #1, vs Weavertown.

The sinkhole at the end of the gravel parking lot has become worse due to recent rains. Please do not go near it and especially keep children away. Fencing has been put up around it to keep you safe.

Thank you for continuing to treat the building as closed. Please do not go inside other than to use the restroom.

Giving: Thanks to all of our church family for giving regularly, thoughtfully, and sacrificially! Your steady stewardship has made it possible for us to continue to meet all expenses throughout the pandemic. Instead of using the church's giving envelopes, we are encouraging everyone to either give online, mail in your giving, or use an envelope from home to place your offering in the giving box located on the sidewalk near the gym doors.
