Sunday, October 4, Outside!
This Sunday, October 4, looks like it should be a lovely, Fall day. Come join us outdoors as we continue on in our study in the book of James. See below for a new event for the church on October 18!
Barbecue Lunch October 18- Following our first service back indoors on October 18, we will head back outside for lunch! We want to celebrate together, so the church will provide lunch from a food truck. Plan to hang out with others after the service, enjoy good food, and relax on the lawn!
Special Connect Idea- Please watch this video from Pastor Pat about a unique way that we can encourage and bless our local schools with your help. You can still contribute funds this Sunday if you so choose and please pick up a prayer card with various ways you can pray for our local schools.
Bible Memory- Continue to memorize with us as we move through chapter 2, James 2:14-26 (ESV). Another large section this week, but you can do it! Writing it out or speaking out loud as you memorize can be helpful.
Moving Indoors, October 18- Only two more outdoor gatherings, weather permitting. We will be moving back inside on October 18. More details to come.
Sunday Worship Services- We are gathering at 10:30 AM! Invite a friend, neighbor, family member, or coworker to attend with you. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. The Sunday worship service will be streamed on Facebook Live. It can be found on the Pequea Baptist Church page.
Families- Children's church will be held during the sermon time for children ages 2 through grade 3. There will be separately bagged, age-appropriate activities to do with children ages 2 through grade 6. You can find these packets available for pickup each Sunday outside of the gym doors.
Giving- The Pequea Church leadership cannot thank everyone enough for your steady and generous giving. Thank you! Instead of using the church's giving envelopes, everyone is encouraged to either give online, mail in your giving, or use an envelope from home to place your offering in the giving box located on the sidewalk near the gym doors.
