Weekly Announcements December 30

Bible Memory- This month we are memorizing Romans 1:14-17 together.

I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Upward Basketball is cancelled this season, but a tournament will still take place!  This tournament is scheduled for two Saturdays, March 20th and 27th, and will be free of charge to our community.  We are disappointed at having to cancel UPWARD but are looking forward to this UPWARD-style tournament.  Please mark your calendars!

The Ladies Wednesday Night Bible Study will begin a new study next Wednesday, January 6.  They will meet in the Ed Building at 6:30pm and this study will run approximately 13 weeks.  They will be using Twelve Extraordinary Women: How God Shaped Women of the Bible, and What He Wants to Do with You by John MacArthur.  Please contact Linda Wise 610-420-7143 to be sure that she has a book for you on the first night.

The church offices are closed this week.  For urgent matters, contact staff members using their cell phones or email.

New adult electives will begin this Sunday and run through February 28th.  Matt Oser will be teaching “A Confused Culture: Learning to Understand and Speak Truth in Our Changing World” upstairs in building C.  Todd Houck and Wes Zook will be teaching Nehemiah in the sanctuary.
